Start of Summer session - Domestic Students
May 7, 2018
We are excited to welcome you to York University and pleased to inform you that the Summer Session has now been confirmed to begin on Tuesday, May 22, 2018.
The Summer 2018 Session will consist of one 12-week term and one 6-week term both beginning on May 22. We anticipate that the number of courses offered will be reduced from the original schedule as a result of the current labour disruption.
The revised Summer 2018 course timetable, once finalized, will be posted on the Course Timetable Search website. If you have already enrolled in summer courses and it is determined that that your course(s) will not continue as scheduled, you will receive an email confirming your removal from that course and providing your options, as soon as the information is available. If you have not enrolled in summer courses, you can do so once the schedule is posted later this week.
Information about Summer OSAP
York University is currently accepting and reviewing summer OSAP applications. If you have registered, or are planning to register, in Summer courses and need to apply for financial support, complete the summer OSAP application to receive your summer OSAP funding as soon as possible.
We are currently working with the Ministry of Advanced Education & Skills Development to expedite the release of your OSAP summer funding through your Summer Confirmation of Enrolment. You can expect your Summer OSAP application to be processed (and Summer funding to be released) three to four weeks after the start of the Summer session.
For information about eligibility and the processing of the summer OSAP application, visit the OSAP website.
