Dear Student,

I am writing to inform you that Senate Executive has determined that courses that are currently running despite the labour disruption will have an exam period scheduled to end no later than the current published scheduled end date for winter exams – April 23, 2018. While there may be some adjustments to dates and times, these exams will conclude by April 23.

Students who are participating in currently running courses during the labour disruption will be able to finish them within the normal academic timeframe.

You can find the exam schedule for continuing courses here: currentstudents.yorku.ca/exam-schedule.

This decision does not apply to courses that are currently not running or to the Osgoode Hall Law School.

Senate Executive will be meeting further to discuss remediation and final grades, including a second exam period, for other situations (i.e. courses not running and continuing courses where students chose not to participate during the strike). We will communicate their decisions to you as soon as possible.

Stay up-to-date by visiting the Frequently Asked Questions tab on the Labour Negotiation Update website. You can get specific, regularly updated information about your classes, labs and tutorials by visiting the courses section of my.yorku.ca or www.yorku.ca/coursestatus.

Sincerely,

Lucy Fromowitz
